Bonding

Bonding with the boys through soccer and play!

VBS day two

Jesus is the light of the world !!!

Feliz cumple, David!

The boys at Kusi surprised David for his birthday!

First day of work

Our students worked hard scrapping rust, prepping walls to be painted, digging out space for a sidewalk, and preparing a building to be covered in plaster.

Aimee's Classroom

Tuesday morning Maria Antonietta, national director of Scripture Union's school work, and Susan Smith, SLCA's lower school principal, dedicated the classroom for children with special needs in honor of Aimee Powell.

Aimee was a beloved fourth grade teacher at SLCA who was killed in a car accident on her way to school on January 21, 2010.

There are currently 15 children at the Kusi-Ongo school who will be served with this classroom, including kids with Down's syndrome, mentally handicapped children and learning disabled children.

Please pray for a godly, well trained teacher for these sweet children!

First day of VBS

Here are pictures from our first day!

We taught the kids about Jesus, the bread of life!
